Friday in Fez


Today is first lesson in our blog with Sandy and Fred it's new for us and we enjoy already!

Tonight at Riad Laaroussa we are cooking our traditional Fassi couscous with seven vegetables (carots, potatos, tomatoes, zucchini, turnip, cabbage, chickpeas, and onion ). It is tasty with onions jam,and dry grapes. If you are interested in this recipe we will post it tomorrow.

Marina and Sean come from the United States and they had a good time in Fez. It was fun to meet people who were so friendly and lovelly that Marina took the time to dress so like a beautiful Moroccan.

Welcome to our kitchen in Morocco


Traditionally we prepare couscous on Friday which is our holy day. But for special guests we prepare it any time! It takes a lot of time but once you have tasted it you will always remember Moroccan couscous.
