Orange Fruit
In this period in Fez, the most of the people make many sorts of orange receipts like Salads desert with cinnamon, juice, pie, and jam.
By the way, I want to mention that our lovely Riad’s garden has four fruitful orange trees, which provide our kitchen with fresh oranges by which we make delicious cakes and juices.
Bitter orange sharpens the memory:
Bitter orange is one of the most valuable fruits to our whole organism. It contains vitamins B and C, iron, calcium, potassium, copper, citric and malic, its peels have an anti-fermentation essence. These properties make it a genuine health product. It stimulates the memory and encourages intellectual endeavour, thanks to the association of vitamin C, Phosphorus. It reduces the risk of cardio-vascular disease such as thrombosis, think to its acids, which cleanse the blood by dissolving the impurities which finally, the anti-fermentation agents in the peel (eaten, for instance) prevent colic pains.
