Today is first lesson in our blog with Sandy and Fred it's new for us and we enjoy already!

Tonight at Riad Laaroussa we are cooking our traditional Fassi couscous with seven vegetables (carots, potatos, tomatoes, zucchini, turnip, cabbage, chickpeas, and onion ). It is tasty with onions jam,and dry grapes. If you are interested in this recipe we will post it tomorrow.

Dear Moroccan Kitchen,

Whilst at dinner at Riad Laaroussa last Deceember, we
had a wonderful lamb couscous dish that I still dream
about! As an accompaniment we were offered a kind of
jam/chutney. I think it was made of raisons, onions,
sugar and cinnamon? If I could get hold of the recipe
I would be very grateful!

Many thanks,
Tamsin Ranger

Congratulations to Moroccan Kitchen's Samira, Saba and Fatima for thrilling my guests who have loved going to the Markets with you....learned and laughed much during your cooking session, and delighted in the opportunity to dine in the ambience of Riad Laaroussa. Thankyou for extending your knowledge and hospitality in this way.

We have just arrived from our stay at Riad Laaroussa, we took the cooking lessons, and loved all the time that we spend with Samira and Fatima. They treat us like family, we learned how to cook Pastille du Pigeon and understood how may hours they put into cooking. The result was magnific. Thank you very much for the good time you gave us. Hello Samir, Greetings from New York. Brian, Emma and I stayed at the Riad a little over a week ago and cannot quit talking about how wonderful everything was. I am sad our time was short and I did not get to shop and cook with you and Fatima. The meals we did have at the Riad were wonderful. My favorite was the chicken with onions, apricots and almonds. I would love to try to cook it now that we are home. Would you mind sharing the recipe? Emma misses Bill and Tom, so please give them a hug for her! All the best and thank you, Shelley
